🎉👧🏀Congratulations to our MS Girls Basketball Program for winning its 4th straight SGAC Championship, 55-15 over Turner County! Thank you to Coach Cierra Reynolds and her staff, the players, and all of the fans who turned Ashburn into Quitman North!! Outstanding job, ladies! Post-game pictures are attached.
🎉👧👦🏀Congratulations to our Varsity Basketball Programs for wins over Cook Saturday. The girls and boys both won by more than 30 points, heading into the break with a lot of momentum. The boys will be back at home January 2nd vs Madison Co, FL.

We are so proud of all of our students who auditioned for Shrek Jr. the Musical! Every student who tried out did an outstanding job, and assigning roles was no easy task. The talent, confidence, and hard work shown during auditions truly impressed us all. Please see the attached picture to see the cast of Shrek Jr. the Musical.

They will head to Turner Co this afternoon to compete for a 4th straight championship! Tipoff is at 4:30 in Ashburn, and we want everyone to wear RED!! Go get 'em, ladies!
🎉🏹Congratulations to our Archery team for its performance in Hahira Friday afternoon! Bo Wade led the High School with a 242, Shelby Dixon led the Middle School with a 220, and Dylan Weaver led the Elementary with a 211. They will be back in action this Thursday.

The Brooks County Middle School Band held their annual Holiday Concert last night at the Brooks County High School Performing Arts Center — and it was spectacular!
Our 7th and 8th grade concert bands performed both together and separately, filling the PAC with festive tunes that truly set the mood for the upcoming holidays. 🎄🎺
Bravo to our talented musicians and director for an evening full of spirit, skill, and holiday cheer! 🎶❤️

Brooks County Schools, in partnership with the Community Foundation of South Georgia, proudly recognizes ten Brooks County educators selected as recipients of Teacher Mini-Grants through the Robert Warde Chambers Scholarship and Public Education Fund. The grants honor teachers who demonstrate creativity, innovation, and a strong commitment to student success.
The recipients were recognized at the December Board of Education meeting and each received up to $500 to support Spring 2026 classroom projects designed to enhance instruction and student engagement across the district. Brooks County Schools is grateful for the continued partnership and investment in educators whose work makes a lasting impact on students.
