🎉🏀Congratulations to our MS Basketball Programs!! Our Girls went UNDEFEATED last week with our "B" Team crushing Berrien and Thomasville, and our "A" Team putting Berrien and Pelham behind them. Our Boys "A" Team beat Berrien. Come catch them in action at home Monday and Wednesday.
🎉🏹Congratulations to our Archery program for its showing Saturday in Valdosta! Freshman Noah Grage paced the sportsmen with a 238, while sophomore Bo Wade was close behind with a 235. Their next meet will be at BCHS on Saturday, November 15th.
🎉🏈Congratulations to our Varsity Football Trojans for a BIG 39-21 Homecoming, Region win over Charlton Friday!! Thank you to Mrs. Cain for organizing the logistics of homecoming to make it so enjoyable! The parade, pre-game performance by our Empire of Sound, pre-game recognition of the Volleyball Team, Rec Night, in-game recognition of the MS Football Team, halftime Homecoming ceremony, and the actual game itself were all amazing! Football will finish the regular season this Friday honoring our band, cheer, and football seniors while the team faces off against Irwin Co.
🎭We will host the One-Act Play Region Championships Thursday in our beautiful Performing Arts Center at BCHS. The competition starts at 9 with our Trojans performing at noon. Best of luck to all!!

This week, our 2nd and 5th graders at Quitman Elementary participated in their annual hearing and vision screenings on Monday, October 20th. These screenings help ensure every student can see and hear their best—key ingredients for learning success! 💪📚
A huge thank-you to our Brooks County High School Nursing students and Valdosta State University Speech and Language Pathology students for assisting with the process—because it truly takes a village! ❤️
Next week, we’ll be heading to North Brooks Elementary on Tuesday to complete screenings for 2nd and 5th graders, and to Brooks County Middle School on Thursday to screen our 8th graders.
If any concerns were noted, students will be retested in two weeks. If concerns persist, a letter will be sent home for parents or guardians.
Early detection makes a big difference—thank you for partnering with us to keep our students healthy and ready to learn! ❤️
