It’s National School Counseling Week, and at Brooks County Schools, we are incredibly proud of the heart and dedication our counselors bring to our halls every single day! 🔴🔵
From helping our youngest Trojans find their way to guiding our seniors toward their future, these five incredible women are the backbone of student support. Please join us in celebrating:
✨ Detra Jones – QES Counselor
✨ Whitney Monetti – NBES Counselor
✨ Abby Hathaway – BCMS Counselor
✨ Sebrina Mann – DIS Counselor
✨ Courtney Devereaux – BCHS Counselor
Thank you for helping our students navigate school and life with grace, wisdom, and Trojan Pride! 🛡️🙌

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Simmie Jackson (Captain) earlier today. He had been courageously battling cancer, and his strength throughout that journey was a testament to his character. We all knew Simmie as a colleague and friend, and more importantly, he was a man who deeply loved God and his family. He cared immensely for our students and he will be missed terribly. We ask for prayers for his loved ones during this difficult time. Additional information regarding funeral arrangements will be shared as they are made available. Semper Fi, Captain. 💔
