📢 Great Morning, Trojans! 🏀 Congratulations to our BCMS Basketball teams for their performances last week. Our GIrls "A" Team scored victories over Atkinson Co and Cook, while our Boys "A" team also had a big win over AtCo. 🏈 Congratulations to our JV Football team for finishing their season on a high note with a 32-12 triumph over Mitchell County Thursday night. 🔴🔵🏆 Finally, Congratulations to our Trojan Football team for a resounding 33-7 conquest of the Pelham Hornets, leaving no doubt as to who sits alone as the 2023 Region 1-A Champions!! Thank you to the Cheerleaders, Band, Auxiliary, and Dance members who played a HUGE role in the victory. The biggest THANK YOU of the year goes out to our fans, who brought their best energy of the entire season. For those of you who made the trip, you know there was adversity offered up at every turn...but it did not phase anyone involved with the PROUD Trojan program. ⚠ Hoodies commemorating the Region Championship will be offered this week in the BCHS front office. The design can be found at the bottom of this email. Sizes S-2XL are $25, and 3XL are $30. 📢Great Afternoon, Trojan Nation! 🏈 Brooks County High School will host the Crawford County Eagles in the first round of the state playoffs on Friday, November 10th, at 7:30 pm. Ticket guidelines for all playoff games are determined by the Georgia High School Association (GHSA). 🎟 Tickets for first round games will be: General Admission - GoFan: $8 GoFan Link: https://gofan.co/event/1216671?schoolId=GA24298 Reserved Seating - $10 Student - $6 ⚠ BCHS students only may purchase a ticket IN ADVANCE at the $6 rate. This is limited to (1) ticket per student. ⚠ GHSA passes only will be accepted at playoff games. 📢Great Morning Trojans! 🎭 Last week saw our One-Act Play cast & crew place first runner-up at the region competition, falling short of first place by a single point. Congratulations to Dewayne Hazzard for being named the Best Actor in the Region, and Arianna Reddick and Frank Duarte for garnering Region All-Star Acting Awards. 👦👧🏀 Congratulations to our BCMS Boys & Girls basketball teams. The girls earned wins over Berrien (A) and Pine Grove (B), while the boys beat Brookwood (A). 🏈 Finally, congratulations to our Varsity Football team for their resounding victory over Bacon County Friday night, 35-7. What an exclamation point to Senior Night! The region championship will be played Friday night @ Pelham @ 7:30. Go ahead and make plans to be there. 📢 Great Morning Trojan Nation! 🥎🏐 Unfortunately, last week saw the seasons for both our BCHS Softball and Volleyball teams come to an end in the playoffs. Thank you to the ladies, coaches, and all of the people involved in supporting these programs, and for making 2023 a year of multiple "firsts". We are already looking forward to next year! 🏀 Congratulations to our BCMS Boys and Girls Basketball Teams. The Boys recorded wins over Scintilla and Lanier, while the Girls beat Valdosta (twice) and Lanier. We host Berrien tonight at BCMS. Boys & Girls, A and B teams, starting at 4. If you have not made it out to see these athletes in action, this is the perfect opportunity to catch them all in one place. 🎭 Great job by our One-Act play in their first community performance Saturday night. They will have another "tune-up" Tuesday evening at the PAC, then will compete for the region title Thursday at Irwin County. Come out Tuesday night to catch the show. Our young men were well-prepared and played with the passion and intensity we have all grown to expect in Quitman. This Friday will see us hosting Bacon County for another important region matchup, as well as an opportunity to honor our Friday-Night Seniors before the game.
