🌱 Exciting News for The Nature Nook! 🌱 We’re thrilled to announce that Mrs. Candace Brasington, Gifted Coordinator at North Brooks Elementary School, has been awarded a $5,000 Georgia Outdoor Learning Demonstration (GOLD) Grant from the Georgia Department of Education to fund Phase 2 of The Nature Nook! 🎉 With this funding, she will be adding a pollinator garden, benches, mulch, and more to expand this outdoor learning space. Our AG students will help maintain the area, gaining hands-on experience while connecting with nature. 🌸🌿 This space will serve as a hands-on classroom, allowing students to explore science, math, and language arts through real-world activities. The Nature Nook is growing into a lasting resource for our students and teachers! We are excited as we build our outdoor nature area where curiosity blooms, learning flourishes, and of course where Good Things can Grow Here!🍃🌻

📢Great Morning, Trojan Nation!! 🎉🏀Congratulations to our BCMS Basketball Teams after a busy week! Our Lady Trojans went 5-0, beating Clinch, Lanier, Echols, and going 2-0 in Columbus on Saturday. The Boys went 3-2 with victories over Lanier, Echols, and 1 in Columbus. Playoffs start this week for both teams. Stay tuned for updates throughout the week. 🎉👧🏀Congratulations to our Varsity Girls Basketball Team for its Season-Opening 54-36 win over Cook Saturday night. What a great start to what is sure to be an exciting season! 🎉🏈Congratulations to our Varsity Football Team for its 17-14 OT THRILLING VICTORY over Manchester, Friday!! It's hard to explain unless you were there, but WOW! Frigid, Hostile, Intense, Hard-Hitting, Emotional...just like you would expect a Semi-Final game to be in Georgia.
