Brooks County Schools will open tomorrow - Tuesday, December 4. We are asking that parents meet the bus at the nearest paved road. We appreciate your patience as we worked with officials to make this decision. Parents can contact their child(ren)’s school directly if they have extenuating circumstances concerning travel.
We are in communication with Brooks County officials regarding the state of the our roads. Our Transportation department is also out assessing road conditions. We are watching the weather as additional rain is expected this afternoon. An announcement regarding the closing or re-opening of our schools for Tuesday will be made later today. The BCMS basketball game scheduled for today has been postponed due to hazardous road conditions and inclement weather. The game has been rescheduled for December 8 at noon.
