There is some good baseball being played in Quitman, Ladies and Gentlemen!! ⚽🎉 Congratulations to our BCMS Boys Soccer Team for its conquest over Georgia Christian. 🎉💨👟 Finally, Congratulations to our BCMS Track Team for its great performance in the season-opening meet at Lowndes. Our 4x100 Boys Relay - Amari Stephens, Gavin Miller, Jaidon Scott, and Jayden Bryant placed 1st overall. Amari also placed 2nd overall in the 100 meter, while Janiyah Thomas placed 3rd overall in the Girls' High Jump. Great job, Trojans! ⚠ BCHS Track opens this week at Fitzgerald, while our BCHS Tennis will host its first match Tuesday at our state-of-the-art courts. 📢 Great Morning, Trojan Nation! 🎉What an awesome week for Brooks County Athletics! ⚽ Congratulations to our BCHS Men's and Women's Soccer Teams for their convincing victories over Monroe to start their seasons off with wins! They have an eventful week coming up as they host Westover tonight, Cook Friday, and travel to Worth on Thursday. Come out and catch them in action at Veterans Stadium! ⚾ Congratulations to our BCMS Baseball Team, as they swept Washington MS out of Cairo on Friday night. They will also have 3 games this week, with Tuesday being a home game vs Tift Co. If you have not had a chance to check out the "new" field behind the board office, you will be amazed at the work put in to make this a home for our young Trojans. 🏈 Our BCHS Football Team will hold its banquet Tuesday night at the HS cafeteria to celebrate the Region Championship and Semi-Final run this year. Festivities start at 6:00 pm. 🎉🏀 Finally, a HUGE Congratulations to our BCHS Men's and Women's Basketball Teams for their sweep of Irwin County Saturday evening. With the win, our Women locked up the #1 seed for the Region Tournament!!! Our Men will come in as the hottest #4 seed in the state. Both will play Thursday night at Pelham...Ladies will start at 7:00, followed by the Gentlemen at 8:30. They will both play again Friday in Pelham. Those game times will be announced after Thursday's results. 🔴🔵 There are a ton of exciting things happening in Brooks County Athletics, as our winter sports are winding down and spring sports are cranking up. Make it a point to come out and support these student-athletes and coaches in their endeavors outside school walls.
