📣It's School Board Appreciation Week! 📣 As we celebrate Board of Education Appreciation Week, we’ll be shining a spotlight on our dedicated board members all month long!🔴 🔵 ⚪ 🌟 Board Member Spotlight: Larry Cunningham 🌟 🔹 Larry Cunningham 🔹 Years on Board: 31 (Serving since October 1993) What inspired him to serve? "There was an open position on the board, and I wanted to ensure that my children would continue to receive the same great education they had enjoyed for the previous five years." What he loves most about Brooks County Schools: "Our district is large enough to offer a variety of programs and choices for students yet small enough to give individual attention to each child." One piece of advice he has for students: "Focus on acquiring knowledge and don’t worry about the tests. You can Google the answer, but you must have knowledge to know why they asked the question." 🌾🐄 2nd Annual Agriculture Day! 🚜🐍 Our elementary students had an amazing time at the 2nd Annual Agriculture Day, hosted by the Brooks County School District’s Ag teachers! 🌱☀️ Friday was a perfect day to learn outdoors at the Harvey Langdale, Jr. Agriculture Barn, where students got hands-on experience with animals, reptiles, tractors, and fun games! 🎉 A huge THANK YOU to our incredible community members who joined us to share their knowledge and help our students understand the importance of agriculture! 🌾💡
