What an honor it was to witness these Brooks County Middle School students make their #Pledge2Graduate from high school and to continue their education after graduation. Family, friends, staff and community members watched as Sade Newsome, Arturo Cruz, Kasey Atkins, Grace Yearby and Alden Barbour accepted their REACH Scholarship which provides a $10,000 scholarship ($2,500/year) that can be used at a HOPE-eligible University System of Georgia, Technical College System of Georgia, or private postsecondary institution. The scholarship is in addition to any other grant or scholarship the student receives.
