After recently being named a Regional Positive Athlete for the Southwest Georgia Region and advancing to the State level of competition, Brooks County High School Senior Anna Perry was named a 2020-21 State Positive Athlete for Alternative Sports. Scott Pederson, President and CEO of Positive Athletes made the announcement last week. He stated that over 5,000 student athletes had been nominated across the state as a Positive Athlete. Perry is the captain of the Trojanettes Competitive Dance Team and the featured twirler for the Brooks County High School Empire of Sound marching band.
