Brooks County Schools

We are recognizing each of our Brooks County Schools Fine Arts programs during Youth Arts Advocacy Month in March and this is Dance Week! A few short years ago we did not have a Dance program in Brooks County Schools. Thanks to Title IV-A and stART Grant funding, we have been able to begin and sustain a thriving Dance initiative! Our BCHS Dance Team is nationally ranked and Georgia State Champions. We showcased our dancers in The Nutcracker in December of 2019, and our dancers can’t wait to perform on stage in the new Performing Arts Center! We thank our amazing Dance teacher, Lindsay Herring for her vision and for cultivating the talent in our students. 🩰#artsmatter
