Mr. Daniel Storey, U.S. History teacher at Delta Innovative School, has been honored with the prestigious 2023 Georgia Association of Alternative Education Teacher of the Year Award. This recognition is a testament to his dedication and effort to inspire our students. Storey received the award during the Georgia Alternative School Conference (September 27-29) that was held at the Hilton Peachtree City Atlanta Conference Center. Dr. Sam Taylor, the GAAE president, presented Storey with the Teacher of the Year plaque. Pictured with Mr. Storey is Principal Lamar Thomas.
