District 9 Art Contest Winner

Congratulations to Brooks County High School Junior Adia Barrera and Senior Keyarra

Grant for their Georgia Farm Bureau art submissions. High school contestants were
asked to create a black, white and gray drawing using graphite, charcoal, pastel, chalk,
colored pencil, ballpoint pen or mixed media appropriate for printing. Judges looked for
artwork that represented modern agriculture in the student's county or in the state as
well as artistic merit. Barrera was named the winner of the District 9 contest. Her art
work will now compete at the state level. Pictured is BCHS Principal Chris Chastain,
