Thank You

On August 1st, 2019 the Iron Order Motorcycle Club, donated 250 backpacks filled with classroom supplies and 280 spiral notebooks to the Brooks County Schools Department of Student Services.   The packs contained the essential tools kids need to learn - everything from pencils, markers, and notebooks to scissors, pencil cases, and glue.

The Iron Order Motorcycle club has made it a mission for more than three (3) years to assist Brooks County Schools with providing needed supplies to students.  The donations of backpacks received this year in Brooks County will again be distributed to each school in the district as well the Migrant Education Program, the Homeless Education Program and the ECHOES Afterschool Program.  Dr. Tammie Patterson, Director of Student Services stated, “It is one of the highlights of the beginning of the year to see the members of the Club ride up on their motorcycles and with a truck load of school supplies.  When this happens, I know that at any time of the year, if a student needs a backpack for books or just a something to carry personal belongings in; we are able to provide it.”   The Iron Order Motorcycle Club has established their school supply drives to be a resource for not only Brooks County Schools, but in neighboring counties as well.
