Each year our local VFW sponsors a writing contest for our Trojans. This year's writing prompt for our middle school students is "How are you inspired by America?" Please encourage your Trojan to participate in this writing contest to honor our veterans! The top three winners will be recognized at the annual Veterans Day Program on November 11, 2023. If you have questions about the writing contest, please check with Mrs. Jones (BCMS), Mr. Lucas (DIS), or your Social Studies teacher.

Mrs. Goodin's 8th Grade Torch Social Studies students did a gallery walk over Georgia's geography. Students had to identify Georgia's regions and physical features. They also had to make connections on how climate, water, and major cities impact where people live in the state! #LevelUp
Mrs. Overy's 6th Grade TORCH Math student's brains worked hard through a Stations Maze that covered Mean, Median, Mode, and Range! #LevelUp
