Congratulations to the Brooks County High School Math Department!
We are thrilled to announce that Brooks County High School has been recognized by the Georgia Department of Education as a Math Leader School for outstanding student growth on the Algebra End of Course (EOC) Assessment. This recognition highlights the dedication of our math teachers to fostering high achievement and growth in mathematics.
Thank you to our exceptional math team for their hard work and commitment to our students' success. Go Trojans!

Brooks County High School has completed its first nine weeks, and we're excited to share our progress!
Academics: Out of 541 students, 5% achieved All "A" Honor Roll status, and 18% earned a spot on the "A/B" Honor Roll. Overall, 58% of students are passing all their classes. We are proud of our student's hard work and determination to excel academically!
Attendance: Attendance is key to academic success, and 23% of students maintained perfect attendance! Another 38% missed less than 5% of days, showing strong commitment. However, 22% missed more than 10% of school days, and 7% were absent over 20% of the time. We will continue to encourage consistent attendance to support student learning.
Discipline: On the discipline front, we’ve recorded a total of 230 referrals. Most of these are minor, making up 95% of the referrals, while major referrals account for only 5%. This reflects our focus on maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
Overall, our students are making strides, and we’re looking forward to even greater success in the next nine weeks. Let's keep bringing that hammer, Trojans!
