Parents are invited to attend the Brooks County Schools CTAE College and Career Fair on Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 8:30 AM - 10:30AM, at the BCHS Gymnasium. This event will provide parents the opportunity to explore colleges and careers with their child by their side. Please check in at the front office. We look forward to seeing you at BCHS!

Today as we celebrated Valentine's Day, we were extra thankful for the sweet treats delivered to our math department from Dr. Thomas.

BCHS Families, Please be aware we do not allow deliveries to students on Valentine's Day, nor will we allow students to carry balloons and flowers throughout the building. We know you want to celebrate and share your love for your students, but we ask you to allow them to receive their gifts after school. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

Ace Electric hosted our students and provided a hands-on learning experience where students were able to take lessons from the classroom and see them in action in the real world! Miss BCHS 2024 Pageant Application Deadline (Friday, January 19, 2024) Students in grades 9-12 interested in being in Miss BCHS 2024 to be held on Saturday, February 3rd at 6pm should see Ms. Cain (acain@brooks.k12.ga.us) by Friday, January 19, 2024 with application and application fee of $30. Participants will compete in casual wear, evening gown, opening number and personal interview. Who will DeShanti White, Miss BCHS 2023 get to crown? Get the application and fee in by Friday, January 19th and let the competition begin!

Brooks County Schools will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will resume our normal schedule on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

After much consideration and reflection, Markel Best decided to take on a new adventure and enlist in the United States Marines! Attention Class of 2024: Local Scholarships are becoming available. Here is how to access: 1. Scan the QR Code below. 2. Complete the scholarships that interest you. (Check qualifications) 3. Return complete scholarship to Mr. Law (printed OR scanned & emailed to blaw@brooks.k12.ga.us in ONE file) by the due date on the file name on the website, not the one in the application. All scholarships must be turned in to Mr. Law by 3:00 PM on the due date on the file name on the website or they will NOT be accepted. No exceptions! Students are welcome to return scholarships to organizations directly by their due dates on the application (where indicated); however, BCHS is not responsible for late scholarships. 4. Some scholarships are to be turned into a portal only. These MUST be submitted directly to the scholarship sponsor in their portal and not turned into Mr. Law.
