Senior Sunset 2026
On Monday evening, our seniors gathered on the practice field for a special time to slow down, reflect, and simply enjoy being together. From sharing a picnic and playing games to writing letters of appreciation and offering advice for future students, the night was filled with meaningful moments and laughter. We look forward to sharing their advice with future students during Freshman Orientation!
A highlight of the evening was the ice cream truck, giving everyone a sweet treat to enjoy while spending time with friends. Seniors also had the chance to participate in the money machine—several names were drawn until all the money was collected, making for a fun and exciting finale to the night!
Before the big finish, the class came together for a group photo to capture the moment and memories.
It was a great night celebrating this incredible class and all they’ve shared together. The future is bright for the Class of 2026!

The last half of the week was a huge success! On Wednesday, we celebrated with hibachi chicken sponsored by our Leader in Me class. Thursday brought sweet treats with cupcakes and Cokes from our PTO, and today we wrapped up the week with a coffee truck and pastries, also thanks to our amazing PTO! A big thank you to our teachers and staff for a wonderful week and for everything you do for our students throughout the year. We appreciate you!

We are off to an amazing start for Teacher (and Staff!) Appreciation Week! Yesterday, our incredible PTO treated our faculty and staff to a delicious Chick-fil-A breakfast to kick things off. Today, FFA and PTO teamed up to host a wonderful “Plantin’ & Snack-In” in Miss Brightwell’s room, such a fun and thoughtful way to show appreciation! We are so grateful for our teachers and staff and all the hard work, care, and dedication they pour into our students every single day. This week is just a small way to say THANK YOU for everything you do! We’re not slowing down! Wednesday is shaping up to be just as exciting! Our Leader In Me class, along with Chef Acree and her students from Wiregrass Technical College, will be serving up hibachi to keep the celebration going. It’s a great week to celebrate some truly amazing people!

We had a wonderful evening celebrating our Top 10 Seniors at a special dinner held at the Quitman Country Club, graciously hosted by our PTO. The night was filled with pride and support as students were joined by their families, teachers, administrators, curriculum director, Superintendent Dr. Vickie Reed, and Board Members Larry Cunningham and Dr. Diane Thomas. A special highlight of the evening was the inspiring words of wisdom shared by Brooks County’s own Ryan Hogan, encouraging our seniors as they prepare for the next chapter. Congratulations again to our outstanding seniors; we are so proud of you and all you have accomplished. Your future is bright!
