📢 Attention Parents and Guardians! 📢
We're excited to announce that our students will be taking the Write Score Assessment on February 28th and 29th! 📝 To ensure a smooth testing experience, we kindly request that all students bring their Chromebooks fully charged to school on these days. ⚡️ This will help us facilitate the assessment efficiently and allow our students to showcase their skills effectively. Let's make this assessment a valuable learning opportunity for our students! 🌟 #bringthathammer

Last week Brooks County High School had a special guest speaker, Micheaux Ashley, a 2004 Brooks County High School alumni. He was a semi-pro basketball player in Canada and Puerto Rico before becoming a business owner serving others as a personal chef. He has a love for Brooks County and wishes to give back to our Trojans. Thank you Mr. Ashley for presenting to our Class of 2027 when our Trojans signed their Pledge 2 Graduate banner!

From the insightful presentations by Ameris Bank, the Georgia Bureau of Investigations, and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce to the invaluable wisdom shared by local business owners, this day was truly a day to remember for our High School High Tech participants! Thank you to all those who took the time to share your expertise and passion with our Trojans. Your guidance is shaping the future leaders of tomorrow, and we are immensely grateful for your support.

Today as we celebrated Valentine's Day, we were extra thankful for the sweet treats delivered to our math department from Dr. Thomas.

BCHS Families,
Please be aware we do not allow deliveries to students on Valentine's Day, nor will we allow students to carry balloons and flowers throughout the building. We know you want to celebrate and share your love for your students, but we ask you to allow them to receive their gifts after school. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

🎉📚 Happy School Counselors Week! 📚🎉
BCHS wants to take a moment to celebrate Brian Law and Holly Stone! 🌟 Your dedication, compassion, and unwavering support make such a difference in the lives of our students every single day. Whether you're offering guidance, lending an empathetic ear, or helping students navigate their academic and personal journeys, your impact is immeasurable. Thank you for being the guiding lights in our schools!

📚 Our juniors and seniors were honored to have author Dale Alexander share insights from his book "The Talk About Money." 💰💡 The students were grateful for the valuable lessons learned about how to save and invest for their future, and they each received a copy of the book courtesy of our L4GA grant. Thank you Mrs. Freeman and Dr. Chastain for making this event possible for our Trojans.

Hello, Trojans!
Please visit our website where you can find a video series for parents & students of BCHS -Trojan Testimonies:
https://www.brooks.k12.ga.us/o/highschool/page/parent-involvement.
The Trojan Testimonies series is a collection of videos to highlight the information to support our Trojans in their quest to graduate from Brooks County High School with the knowledge and resources needed to prepare for the next chapter of their lives post-high school graduation. This video series is an ongoing process, and videos will be periodically uploaded to showcase specific topics based on your input. If you have questions or comments that you would like to share about our series or ways to improve our work, please contact Brooks County High School Parent Engagement Coordinator.

Check out our Trojans who are participating in a book study led by Coach Grage and Coach McFather. These student-athletes are using this time to focus on the importance of maintaining a positive attitude and energy in the face of adversity. We love when our students #readMoreBrooks!

⚡🔌 Our Brooks County High School ag students would like to share their appreciation with Ace Electric for allowing them to visit. Ace Electric hosted our students and provided a hands-on learning experience where students were able to take lessons from the classroom and see them in action in the real world! This trip would not have been possible without the support of our phenomenal Ag teacher, Ms. Thomas! Let's continue to grow, learn, and share our adventures together, Trojans! 🌱🔗

Look at the skills our Trojans are developing in Ms. Thomas’ Ag Mechanics class! This class plays a vital role in shaping the educational journey of students, offering hands-on experiences that extend beyond the classroom. Learning to maneuver and use machinery not only fosters practical skills but also cultivates a deep understanding of agricultural processes. Great job, Trojans! ❤️💙
