You know what they say - - the best way to start something new is to jump right in... and that is exactly what this eighth grade ELA teacher has done since we returned from Christmas break!
Kudos to Mrs. McKenzie for jumping feet first into our January ELA writing instruction! She is proving that grammar instruction can be both meaningful and highly engaging for our Trojans! Classroom visits have shown that Mrs. McKenzie has found the courage and dedication to transition into the new instructional focus as she has created intentional, engaging opportunities for grammar instruction to help her students develop a deeper, more meaningful connection to writing.
