ABOUT US

The Brooks County Schools Early Learning Center is home to Brooks County's Tiniest Trojans. The ELC houses Pre-Kindergarten and the Child Development Program.

Pre-K is funded by the Georgia State Lottery, and governed by Bright from the Start.  Students in this program will receive age appropriate instruction that prepares them for a successful transition to kindergarten.  Teachers work diligently with the students on social, emotional, and academic needs throughout the school year. Currently, there are 5 general education classrooms and 1 special education classroom that serves our Pre-K students.

The Child Development Program is a paid program that is Quality Rated .  There is one 3 year old classroom, one 2 year old classroom, and one infant/toddler classroom with four staff members.  The staff works together to ensure that all students receive quality care and a tremendous introduction into a structured school environment.
