Hello Parents/Guardians !
My name is Mr. Staten and I am your child's Art Teacher here at QES where we explore creativity, imagination, and choice in art. It is with great pleasure of mine to invite your child to submit a few artworks for an opportunity to participate in the 2023-
2024 QES Art Club. Your child has shown a love for Art within my class, and I know they would want to continue showing it, In this year's Art Club, we will be working on murals and broadening your child's artistic abilities. We will be meeting two times a month from 3:15 to 4:15 PM. All artists will be provided with materials to create. I ask you to please be available to pick your child up on Art Club days by 4:10 PM. Please take note that your child must be in the 3 rd through 5 th grade to be considered due to the nature of our club this year; a total of 12 students will be chosen. Let's make our school fun and bright!
Requirements
3 Artworks of any style (a student may ask Mr. Staten for paper if they need it)
The artworks must fill the entire paper in some form (ex. portrait with a solid color background other than white)
IMPORTANT DATES
Artwork submissions are due by August 23rd Mr. Staten will gladly accept them early.
Art Club members will be announced by August 28th
First Art Club meeting will be Thursday, September 7th
