The Middle South district is hosting an essay contest, in which the winner will receive a $2,500 scholarship to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) in Tifton, GA. Williams Scholars FSU scholarship Eligibility: First preference will be given to students, who are residents of one of the following Georgia counties: Brooks, Colquitt, Grady, Mitchell, and Thomas counties. The Brooks County Farm Bureau will provide up to two scholarships in the amount of $ 1,000.00 each, a total of $ 2,000.00. The scholarship award will be given to a senior from Brooks County. Applicant must qualify to enter a University, College or Technical School in the upcoming fall. A letter of acceptance will be required before the award is presented. Deadline: April 16th 2018 .
Valdosta State University has an application fee waiver from April 7 – 15.
