Spice Chicks Win!

Brooks County High School’s Dual Enrollment Culinary Team was recently invited to compete at the Student Chef Competition sponsored by the Georgia Department of Education’s School Nutrition Program. They were one of ten Georgia schools chosen to compete in Macon. The team, known as The Spice Chicks, prepared White Chicken Chili as their entry. Their dish was awarded 1st place and now the Spice Chicks will move on to the next round of the competition. Their win secured their invitation to participate in the Southeast Regional Junior Chef Competition in Louisville, Kentucky.  Members of team are Chef Tammy Acree, Raeanna Barbour, Arkessia Stewart, Keionna Donaldson, and Breauna Grant
